The old adage goes, “Drink 8 glasses of water or more to be well hydrated.” But what they didn’t tell you is up to 20% of your H20 intake comes from the foods you eat, especially fruits and vegetables. Include these foods: cucumbers, lettuce, celery, radishes, bell peppers, tomatoes and celery, in your diet if you’re looking to be well hydrated during Summertime… If you are a kidney patient, please consult with your doctor or nutritionist about including any food to your diet. Individuals in the later stages of kidney disease should limit the water intake.
